From the outset, this research sought to identify the components that defined this behaviour from an educational perspective, which is why the phenomenon of suicidal behaviour is mainly explained from three dimensions or categories: firstly, the concept, how it is defined, secondly, the factors related to the behaviour, and which factors are considered to be related to this problem, and finally, prevention, in relation to the knowledge that they possess regarding the precaution of this type of behaviour. Starting with a contextual tour where suicide is evidenced as a public health problem that affects the population worldwide, followed by a historical tour of six theoretical models where it is expressed in a summarized way those scientific theories that in some way tries to explain the phenomenon in question.
