Autorenporträt
If it's creative, Roy W. P. Reed has tried it. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queen's University, pottery, painting, welding, needlecrafts, sand sculpting, and pumpkin carving are just a handful of the artistic challenges he's taken on. Whatever he learns, he teaches to his primary school students (except the welding) and members of the local community. You might also see him presenting at education conferences, sharing innovative, research-based techniques and strategies for teaching math and art to young children. He is currently on the third draft of a paranormal YA novel and teaching himself Swedish, Turkish, and Mandarin (if he's not distracted by all the stained glass in his garage). Roy lives with his wife of 28 years in north-eastern Ontario, surrounded by rocks and trees and water.
