To say that the author, Toby Rompf, has had an interesting and diverse past would be an understatement. He has worked as a repo-man, construction worker, alarm installer, news editor and photographer, and now as a law enforcement officer, to name only a few. He has flown planes recreationally, driven across the country multiple times, and loves to ride his motorcycle. Toby Rompf also loves to play sports, swim, and even play video games.From the beginning, Toby Rompf has had an interest in writing, creating short stories, scripts, and recently novels. He has drawn inspirations from his diverse working life, as well as the stories told from his German immigrant parents and grandparents. Writing has always been a passion for Toby Rompf, and after completing his first novel, "Letter to Elizabeth," he has finally been persuaded into publishing his second novel.Toby Rompf graduated in Richmond, B.C., before going to Australia for a year to travel and for further education. He also has gone to the British Columbia Institute of Technology on two separate occasions. One of the highlights of Toby Rompf's life has been being able to visit Cameroon, Africa, on three separate mission trips.
