Tad Frizzell is the author of the Amazon bestseller Letters to a Perfectionist. His writing is inspired by a life filled with mountains, monasteries, and travels through strange lands, including the wilderness of the human heart. Born in Abilene, Texas, he earned a degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His deep interest in spiritual life led him to an Orthodox Christian monastery where he lived for 16 years and eventually served as the deputy abbot. After leaving the monastery he began writing as a way of reflecting on and interpreting all of his experiences from childhood to middle-age. From a youth filled with adventure sports to years of monastic life to pastoral experience working with people and their spiritual problems, all of these rich experiences inform his poetry and prose.
