This book is about "A Descriptive study to assess the Knowledge on Family Welfare measures among married adults in Bethesda Hospital, Ambur by Ms. E. Manjula. One of the most important problems of India is population growth. India is the second most populous country in the world. The impact of such population growth on the national economy becomes obvious and the necessity for controlling population growth is very important. Hence present objectives of the study are to assess the level of knowledge on family welfare measures among married adults in Bethesda Hospital, Ambur and to associate level of knowledge with socio-demographic variables among married adults. Major findings shows that the overall knowledge among 100 married adults 17(17.0%) had inadequate knowledge and 79 (79.0%) had moderately adequate knowledge and 4 (4.0%) had adequate knowledge. The descriptive statistics for overall knowledge among adults 44.56 was mean with 18.53 as standard deviation. There was no association between level of knowledge and demographic variables at p0.05 level. Conclusion: The study revealed that most of married adult had moderate knowledge.
