Autorenporträt
Barbara Warner is a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. She left a twenty year private psychotherapy practice in Atlanta before joining the nursing faculty at Clemson University in 2005. Barbara has designed and implemented healing and educational workshops that focus on self-care and empowerment. She has facilitated seminars in a variety of settings from mountain retreats to hospital conference rooms to corporate offices. Having studied with a Native American Medicine and Shaman for twelve years, Barbara is trained in a variety of holistic/integrative therapies including: Hypnotherapy, Breath Work, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Tai Chi, Guided Imagery, Energy Medicine, Yoga, and Aromatherapy. Currently a ceramic artist and potter who is active in the local art community, Barbara felt compelled to share Lewie's story with children. Her work, inspired by the awe and "wisdom" of her twin grandsons, captures insights and teachings available to all of us through nature.
