Autorenporträt
Dr. Nancy Mezey′s interests and expertise lie within family sociology, gender studies, race-class-gender-studies, feminist theories, and the sociology of sexualities. She is currently the Sociology Program Director, Director and Curriculum Coordinator of the Gender Studies Program, and the Associate Director of the Institute for Global Understanding at Monmouth University. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Society for the Study of Social Problems (SSSP). Dr. Mezey published her first book, New Choices, New Families: How Lesbians Decide about Families (Johns Hopkins University Press) in 2008. She also has several other publications in the area of GLBT families, including two articles and one forthcoming book chapter, as well as articles and book chapters in the area of the family studies addressing family violence and family forensics (see attached CV for details).
