The abandonment of traditional concepts has led to the evolution of ideas within both the European Union (EU) and Israel alongside a 'cacophony of clashing visions' (Walzer, 2000) between the traditional religious and the secular communities. This book aims to break down the traditional factions of the two loose cultures, to understand the evolution of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in both the EU and Israel. It will also suggest an evolution of a robust global Jewry, whose centre can be perceived as both Israel and other centers of Jewish culture around the world.
