The aim of this book is to analyze the point of view of Japanese authors and producers on LGBTQ issues through Japanese anime. Above all, we sought to analyze how society deals with LGBTQ issues and how the reception of anime material is viewed by Western society, especially in relation to its distribution to the children's market.

Ueslei Madureira Sá est un communicologue diplômé de l'université d'État de Santa Cruz (UESC) et originaire d'Ilhéus-BA. Ses recherches portent sur les études de genre et de sexualité et leurs représentations dans les médias.
