Life histories are developed by those who are in charge of preserving, transmitting and constructing the knowledge of their own experiences during the stages of their lives, knowing how to contextualize the different experiences in time and space. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the study of the academic profession through the use of the methodology of life histories, which is in charge of removing the memory that the actor has elaborated from his life experience and the search for documentary research that can reinforce and confirm the information kept in the memory. The research was based on a mixed methodology since it combined qualitative research techniques, necessary to study a singular subject, with documentary techniques, vital for any historical research.
