Life in Christmas Letters is Theresa McKenna's first novel and is based upon the Christmas letters that her husband has written for more than twenty-five years. The story is semiautobiographical and taps into Theresa's upbringing by first-generation Italian American parents, the lifelong impact of attending the University of Notre Dame and her feelings about being a working mother. Theresa is a retired marketing professional who lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband. Her two sons are college students at Notre Dame.
