In addition, the circumstances they are facing being on the street were also tried to know. Most of the qualitative methods were applied to observe the phenomenon and collect the relevant information. The process of scavenging was explored in detail and causes behind involvement of children in scavenging are dug out and consequences of being scavenging child are highlighted. It was found that scavenging is somehow a profession by choice but these children are also facing a lot violence and chance getting engaged in delinquent activities.
