In the stink of mold and rotting flesh passengers awaken in a crumpled spaceship on an unknown planet. Enmeshed in vines and swarmed by bugs, they are threatened by creatures armored like tanks and cat-like predators bigger than men. They must learn how to survive in a jungle unlike any they have known. They must also learn how to survive each other. No hero will emerge to save them; all of them - women and men, adults and teens - will play a pivotal role as they struggle to engineer a new society.

Autorenporträt
Glenn Henderson has travelled extensively throughout the Middle East, northern Africa, Europe, and Central America. His early years in Alaska with the U.S. Army included nights in -25F snowstorms. He started and ran his own construction company, and for four decades worked on civil engineering projects from pumping stations to interstate freeways to hydroelectric dams throughout Southern and Central California. After retirement, a move to the southeastern U.S. brought over a decade working in a rescue squad, responding to both mass casualty events and individuals in personal crisis. These experiences inspired and shaped Oblivion.
