David Kalamen is founder and now, consultant to the Board of Kelowna Christian Center Society. Married to Carleen for 52 years, have been ministering to the people of this region through Kelowna Christian Center for 40 years.

David is a pastor's son, born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, and raised in the diverse culture of four of Canada's great provinces New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and now, British Columbia. He has been blessed to see three generations of ministers flowing together, serving alongside both his father (Arnold Kalamen) and his son, Brodie who is KCC's senior pastor now. Cumulatively, three generations of Kalamens have invested over 100 years of pastoral/apostolic ministry into the city of Kelowna and the BC region (his apostolic call 1992, Rom 1:5-6).

David and his family are passionate to see people become all that God has called them to be and to help them discover and fulfill the purpose for which they were created. He has authored a book, Life Purpose that has been released broadly throughout Canada and has been printed internationally.

David has served as President of the Ministerial, hosted numerous City Transformation conferences, and developed the Houses of Mercy program to help build an intelligent and compassionate community.

David has been called upon to speak at national and international conferences that have dealt with a wide range of leadership issues touching Christianity, like church governance, spiritual fathering, social justice, city transformation, mercy mission and marketplace ministry. That call has taken him to over 35 nations.

He was a founding Director of Open Bible Faith Fellowship churches and is a founding member of the Board of Governors for Vietnam's Master's Theological Institute.

David is serving Kenn Gill and Dennis Peacock with The Statesmen Project, training citizens for kingdom impact on the Seven Mountains of Culture. He was a founding member of the National Association of Apostolic Leadership, the Canadian Coalition of Apostolic Leaders and continues to serve under the leadership of Phil Nordin.

He is working with national leaders on a formative idea, the 3P Project, a Christian worldview initiative to train the church of Canada. If the Church is not discipled with a strong Biblical worldview, how can it disciple the nation?
