ABOUT THE AUTHOR Alejandra's first book is inspired by her own experience as a mother, thinking about the legacy she would leave for her sons and her experience as an arts educator working with students of all ages. She truly believes that raising children who are confident in themselves, respectful of others, positive about life and encouraged to explore their creativity through art and music will result in more fulfi lled and nurturing adults. Alejandra is a visual artist working primarily with Paper-Mache. In 2000 she moved from Mexico to Manitoba, Canada where she lives with her husband, two sons and their family dog. She loves art, colour, music, her family, and life. Este primer libro de Alejandra está inspirado en su experiencia como madre y el legado que le gustaría dejar a sus hijos; y en su experiencia como educadora en arte, trabajando con estudiantes de todas las edades. Ella cree que educando niños seguros de sí mismos, respetuosos de otros, con actitud positiva hacia la vida y motivados a explorar su creatividad a través del arte y la música, resultará en adultos realizados y amorosos. Alejandra es una artista visual que trabaja principalmente con Papel-Mache. En 2000 se mudó de México a Manitoba, Canadá; donde vive con su esposo, sus dos hijos y la perra de la familia. Alejandra ama el arte, el color, la música, a su familia y la vida ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR Graphic Designer, Publicist, and a successful entrepreneur; Cecilia is a visual artist, painter, and illustrator whose path in art began at a very early age. Experimenting with acrylic, oil, pastel, and for fifteen years with watercolour, her passion for art has taken her through a multitude of diff erent studies and she has participated in numerous solo and collective art shows. She is extremely excited to have created the beautiful watercolour illustrations for "Life Values for You". When Cecilia is not travelling, she spends time painting at either of her houses in Mexico City, Querétaro, and Acapulco. The rest of her time is dedicated towards her business and enjoying life to the fullest. Diseñadora Grafica, Publcista y exitosa empresaria; Cecilia es una artista visual, pintora e ilustradora cuya carrera empezó a muy temprana edad. Experimentando con lápiz, acrílico, óleo y por 15 años con acuarela, su pasión por el arte la ha llevado a través de múltiples estudios y ha participado en numerosas exhibiciones individuales y colectivas. Ella está extremadamente emocionada de haber creado las hermosas ilustaciones en acuarela para "Valores de Vida para Ti". Cuando no está viajando, Cecilia pasa temporadas en sus casas de la Ciudad de México, Querétaro y Acapulco pintando. El resto de su tiempo lo dedica a su negocio y a vivir la vida con plenitud.
