The book's title is taken from a country expression which means a thing, such as life, or a person is rough or unconventional. This story is based 90% on actual experiences. I have been an ordained minister since1974. With my wife of 62 years, I have served the Lord in New York, Texas, Maryland, and Missouri. I have served in many capacities, in mostly small churches. I had many secular jobs to supply family support. This has given me experience with the common citizen. My favorite ministry was to write and direct dramas and skits using the local congregation. I have been blessed to experience several Miracles over the years. This book is based on my first. Several of my children and grandchildren have gone into ministry.
