When they got to Mary's house, Erik didn't turn off the engine to the truck. Instead he parked, got out, and came around to open her door. She was already out before he could get there. She told him she needed to get Glory's bedroom in order so she was not going to invite him in. Erik looked into her eyes and said, "I wasn't coming in. I'm going to pick up the kids and we will be back, if that's okay." Another scene: Mary went to the living room, turned on the TV and sat down in the rocker. Not really looking at the TV she was daydreaming. Something came on the news that caught her eye. It was about a man turning state's evidence in a high profile drug case. She stared at the picture.
