This book is a reflection of the many changes in my life. My father was in Dunkirk and returned home just before I was born. He suffered from PTSD as a result of what he experienced in the war. No emotional support was given to returning service personnel after the war. From leaving school to this present time, we have moved several times due to changes in circumstances. We have rented privately for over fortyfour years. Some residencies were short-term; others for several years. Our two daughters went to atleast eleven schools each. They have made great achievements in their academic and working lives of which we are proud. During my working life, I have been a dressmaker and tailor. I have enjoyed my position of caring for the elderly. Prayer is important in my life.

Autorenporträt
I was born in Liverpool during the second world war. I was the youngest of 3 children. When I was 5 I started school. My uniform was purchased with coupons as we were still on rations. I enjoyed school, although being left -handed was not acceptable. Have the ruler across my knuckles, I soon learned to write with my right hand. I left school at 15 and had various jobs until I moved to Rugeley in Staffordshire, aged 20. Susan was born 2 years later. Aft er problems in the marriage, I was divorced when Susan was 3. I moved back to Liverpool to live with my sister. I later moved to Beaconsfield. Needing accommodation with my job, I worked with 2 different families and later became matron of a residential home for the elderly. During a visit to Manchester, I met Ron at his Church. We married 6 months later and have a daughter, Ruth. Ron and I have pastored 3 Churches and ministered in 8 countries outside the UK.
