Autorenporträt
Lissi Kaplan is a fine artist whose hand-painted porcelains are in the collections of dignitaries, heads of state, and private collectors around the world. Her one-of-a-kind tea services are proudly used and sold at the Peninsula and were celebrated at the Montage Hotel Beverly Hills and the El Encanto Hotel in Santa Barbara, including a tea collection honoring the late Nancy Reagan, displayed at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, among others. Her watercolor paintings have been collected internationally. Lissi is a popular guest speaker on the subject of the history of china-painting, an art that dates back to 1400 a.d. As well as enlightening, her presentations are designed to empower people to seek and find their own passions at any age.
