"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14 New King James Version) "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you. For look, darkness will cover the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and his glory will appear over you." (Isaiah 60: 1-2 Christian Standard Bible) A boy named Uriel lives in the village of Lumen with his grandfather. The village was once full of light and hope, until a dark shadow began to cover the land. This darkness brought sadness and a feeling of hopelessness to the people. ¿ His grandfather believes that Uriel has a special gift within. Once Uriel learns the necessary skills, he is commissioned by his grandfather to seek out the Great One in the mountains above the shadowland. His grandfather warns the young boy that the path is hard and narrow, and he must never stray from it. Will Uriel stray from the path? Will he discover the source of the darkness? Will he become for his village what he was destined to become? Join Uriel on a journey through darkness-that will change everything.
