Laura Hervey writes inspirational romance. Her first novel, SCARLET TEARS, is a redemption story about a former call girl who rebuilds her life. Laura is also the author of a variety of short works, including articles, opinion pieces, poetry, short stories, and devotionals. LIGHT IN A DARK PLACE is her second published novel. Laura lives in western New York. She attends the Bible Tabernacle, a non-denominational Christian church and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers. She teaches 9th grade English. When she isn't writing or teaching, she enjoys spending time with her two children and her grandchildren. She shares her home with two dogs, a German shepherd and a miniature Dachshund.
