Rapid growth and modernism in the city of Addis Ababa led to the construction of various small and large scale structures, the light rail transit train (LRT) is one of them. Despite its major role in transporting enormous number of passengers, it also became "the new ordering principle not only for specific buildings on a given site but to construct the site itself". In this research analyzing the major activities around the "LRT" and creating a seamless flow with the city context, urban culture, surrounding activity and landscape is the major goal. And since the "LRT" crosses Addis Ababa with two lines its response and adaptation will be different from certain place to another.
