Autorenporträt
Marge Silvestri's life has been full and fulfilled as a pre-school through middle school teacher, mother to 3, grandmother to 6, in a beautiful diverse family. However, for many years, she had a longing to write a specific children's picture book. The idea came as a Child Development and Family Relationships major at Cornell University. While doing research on children developing racial bias, the fear of differences seemed to play an important role. That became a seed for an idea. It grew over the years with a positive approach in mind. "Like a Rainbow "was finally created to focus on the beauty of our differences by spotlighting Nature's diverse colors. With this life goal accomplished, Marge is happy to enjoy making her multimedia seaglass art, Zentangling, reading good books, and connecting to family and friends. Ideas for the next book are waiting in the wings, somewhere in her home in New Hampshire. For information and availability for school or library visits, you can contact her at:Email: margesilvestriauthor@gmail.com Website: www.margesilvestri.com
