From the author of Lil' Phyllis Meets Her Book Fair Fairy and When You Meet a Djembe Drum Lil' Phyllis once laughed her way to the White House. A signed copy of Lil' Phyllis Loves, along with student composed letters was delivered into the hands of the First Lady, Michelle Obama! This one of a kind book has been thoroughly vetted by: * Teachers * Librarians * Moms and Dads * Elementary aged boys and girls Most importantly it gets young readers reading and smiling about what they are reading. And this one of a kind book will most certainly put a smile on your face too. After all, little laughter never hurt anybody, But Lil' Phyllis gets carried away... Lil' Phyllis shares the gift of laughter with everyone, including her classmates. "She laughs on the school yard, she laughs down the hall. She just laughs and laughs. Lil' Phyllis her way into the classroom" And learns a valuable lesson in return. Teacher disciplines her for cracking up the entire class with infectious laughter during math. Written in verse, this upbeat telling of an original tale is relatable to children and grown-ups alike. When Lil' Phyllis gets home, she asks her mom and dad, "Is laughing bad?" You will chuckle to yourself like Lil' Phyllis' dad did, as you recall how every classroom seems to have a Lil' Phyllis in it. This a wonderful book because the expression of laughter is universal. However, it is sometimes misunderstood. Look for this story to be retold languages all over the world.
