Since childhood, Chris has been captivated by fantasy. Living near a library, he would often sneak off to escape into worlds of magic, history, and adventure. These early experiences inspired his love for storytelling, and he brings this passion to his works. His latest book, Lila & The Dark, was inspired by the saying, "Nothing in the world is just black and white." Through this novel, Chris encourages readers to challenge their perceptions and see beyond the surface. His favorite line from the book reflects this belief: "The unseen need not always be feared. Darkness often harbors wonders invisible in daylight-like the stars that reveal themselves only at night or the dreams that visit your slumber." This quote, he explains, is his way of reminding readers that everything in life needs to be seen from different perspectives.
