Pat Dudgeon is the chair of the Australian Indigenous Psychologist's Association as well as an associate professor and research fellow at the University of Western Australia's School of Indigenous Studies. She is the former head of the Center for Aboriginal Studies at Curtin University. She and Laura Dudgeon are descendants of the Beniol Bardi people from north of Broome.
