Phyllis Bordo is a retired high school English teacher who loves kids and animals. She read to her grandchildren and volunteered at their school library when they were young. Noticing how much these little ones worried about everything, she created the character of Lilly Esther. Phyllis's stories help children find ways to cope with their fears and anxieties, no matter what they are, in a humorous and loving way. Lilly Esther Rescues Her Park is the fourth book in the Lilly Esther series. Phyllis lives in Toronto with her husband and two dogs, Lilly Esther and Cleopatra.
