Maidul Islam teaches in the Department of Political Science at Presidency University, Kolkata. As a Clarendon-Hector Pilling-Senior Hulme scholar at Brasenose College, he studied political theory for his doctoral studies in the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford.
