Our research, observation, and readings are from only four months due to lack of time and accessibility, as our study and collection of samples are latest. Which are giving the details of water quality of both lakes and the investigations are showing the increasing trend in pollution of both lakes. This study will be beneficial for the respective departments of both lakes whether it is LAWDA (lakes and waterways development authority) Jammu and Kashmir and LDA (lakes development authority) Bangalore Karnataka and for further future researches on both lakes these parameters will give a brief introduction on physico chemical characteristics of both lakes. Due to lack of time and infrastructure our study was limited and little but qualitative in producing information.

Dr. Asmat Rashid is currently working as Assistant professor (Contractual) in the discipline of Environmental Science, Maulana Azad National Urdu University Budgam campus, Jammu and Kashmir. She completed her doctorate in Environmental Science from SKUAST-K and have more than twenty national and international publications.
