Lindsay toured with blues guitarist Buddy Guy. Randy Bachman discovered Lindsay when she was only 15 years old. He was given her demo CD by a mutual friend while on tour, and when he listened to it for the first time he said "we've put in the wrong CD. This is Chet Atkins -- not a 15 year old girl. Then my band and I were assured that it was Lindsay Ell playing a complex Tommy Emmanuel piece. From that moment on, a strong relationship was established and Randy proceeded to co-write and produce her first album Consider This.
