Autorenporträt
Mark Kharitonov was born in Ukraine in 1937. He has translated Franz Kafka, Thomas Mann, Elias Canetti, Herman Hesse, and other modern writers into Russian, and his own novels have been translated around the world. This is his first book to appear in English.
