Cindy Bingham grew up in rural Pennsylvania on a family-owned dairy farm and enjoyed the benefits of extended family, outdoor play, and plentiful space. After earning a Bachelor of Science from a South Carolina university, she returned to Pennsylvania, this time settling in the center of the state near Penn State University. After only a few years there, she returned to the area where she grew up and for nearly thirty years has lived only a few miles from her childhood home. A long-time teacher of high school English, she mentored many students in the disciplines of vocabulary, grammar, and composition. Not until 2013, however, did she attempt the task of writing a novel. e three-part Pennsylvania series was published in 2013. She continues to polish her craft and is currently working on her fourth novel. She also focuses on blogging, where she discusses various subjects from writing to social media marketing. She transitioned from teacher of English to student of writing, editing, and marketing.
