Born March 4, 1997 in Detroit, MI, Amari Johnson has only waited twenty-three short years before deciding to grace the literary world with his first published masterpiece, which he wrote at the age of 13. Raised to always think for himself and temper his experiences with the valued teachings of his father, Mario L. Johnson, young Amari has learned to evaluate the long-term consequences of his every action as he has charged himself to become a role model for his generation. When he moved to Atlanta, GA in June 2011, Amari brought the experiences of growing up in a more industrialized area to a slower paced, more urbane area. Still very much a child in many ways, Amari expressed an interest in writing down his personal thoughts and interpretations as only he could. Although his observations of life are seemingly far beyond his years, Amari is still very much a child.
