Book contains more than 50 beautiful, colorful, photographs of butterflies in natural settings and habitats. Information is provided about the life journeys and habits of butterflies, which can inspire all of us to live more beautifully and productively. Studies show their transition into life, with four states of development, (looking different at every stage), is unlike any other creature. Their unique, intuitive lifestyles, including long migrations, make them some of the most interesting and inspirational creatures. The author has been fascinated by butterflies since childhood; having spent time gardening with her grandmother. She enjoys planting flowers which attracts them and provides an ecosystem for them to grow and develop. Many of the photos were taken in the author's backyard. Some photos are up close enough to view their eyes. For instance, the Blue Morpho butterfly has blue eyes! This image is included in the book. The author has also studied and learned to recognize the gender of some butterflies. Several photos show males and females of the same species, including a mating session between two Great Mormon butterflies! This is a fascinating collection, included in a very beautiful and unusual book!
