The present study was conducted to explore the relationship between listening anxiety, listening strategies, and listening proficiency among Iranian EFL university students. Based on the results, it was found out that listening is an anxiety-inducing skill and listening proficiency plays a key role in determining the level of anxiety. In other words, as listening proficiency increases, the listening anxiety decreases and vice versa.

Autorenporträt
Mohammadreza Dalman was born in 1984 in Iran. He graduated from Shahid Beheshti university majoring in TEFL in 2012. Owing to his interest to language teaching, he started this profession in 2004. He has experienced teaching TOEFL, IELTS, and GRE and now he is teaching in one of the most prominent TOEFL test centers, Amirbahador, in Iran.
