Prajna Paramita Choudhury is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner living in Oakland with her wife, Edie. Prajna was ordained by her teacher, Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh, in 2013 as a lay practitioner in his Plum Village lineage. She shares her spiritual practice and perspectives with others through the sanghas she facilitates or teaches, as well as through her Inner Peace, Outer Peace Mindfulness Meditation class at Energy Matters Acupuncture & Qi Gong where she practices as an acupuncturist and herbalist. Prajna was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for her whole adult life (with a stint in Southern California). She loves singing, cooking and eating healthy and delicious food, tea parties, walks in nature, and spending quality time with friends and family.
