It has always been recognized by those who have cared for literature that at least a part of the reader's judgements on a work, provided he/she reads it as a literary work, will be related to its aesthetic qualities. As different people appreciate literature differently, this study was designed to determine the relationship between translation student's literary appreciation and their literary translation. The present book is another attempt to explain the nature of the reader's response to literary work.
