Literature considers as an accepted cultural value. As a result of this, people are not only interested in literature itself and what it can suggest, but also Philosophers, and literary critics of all times have been interested in how the reader thinks about literature. When a reader reads a literary work he/she will make an attempt to understand and appreciate it. It has always been recognized by those who have cared for literature that at least a part of the reader's judgements on a work, provided he/she reads it as a literary work, will be related to its aesthetic qualities. As different people appreciate literature differently, this study was designed to determine the relationship between translation student's literary appreciation and their literary translation. The present book is another attempt to explain the nature of the reader's response to literary work.
