LISA KANIUT COBB worked as a freelance technical editor and writer for twenty years, while raising her three children. After working as a volunteer, teaching art education and writing, Lisa obtained a master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Denver. Her love of the theatre and her experiences in the classroom led to the writing program in her new book, Literary Ideas and Scripts for Young Playwrights. Her students enthusiastically tackled the exercises, confirming Lisa's belief that this approach to teaching writing is hugely successful. She lives in Denver with her family.
