SUSAN BROOK is an Assistant Professor at Simon Fraser University in Vancover, Canada. Her research interests include postwar British fiction, cultural theory, especially feminist and gender theory, and urban studies, especially suburbia. She has published articles in Hanif Kureishi, Lynne Reid Banks and John Osborne.
