This book is primarily concerned with the study of Literature and Environment. Nature and ecology in select British, American and Indian writings are explored in order to establish a mutually inclusive relationship between humanity and Nature. The book includes an overview of ecocriticism, ecofeminism and environmentalist movements. Rabindranath Tagore, Tukdoji Maharaj and Arun Joshi from Indian side have also been explored from ecological perspective.
