Dr. Sanjib Bhattacharya is presently working as Associate Professor-Deputy Director of UGC-HRDC (Physics), University of North Bengal since September 2020. Before that, he was the Assistant Professor of Physics at Siliguri Institute of Technology, West Bengal. He is also Principal Investigator of major Research Projects, funded by CSIR & DST, Govt. of India. He pursued his M.Sc. (Physics) from University of North Bengal in the year 2002. He pursued Ph.D. work (Solid State Physics) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, and received Ph.D. degree from Jadavpur University in the year 2008. He has more than 14 years of teaching experience. Dr. Sanjib Bhattacharya is the Member of professional bodies like MRSI, Neutron Scattering Society, etc. He has published 75 journal papers of international standard and many books and book chapters in the recent years. He has guided 5 Ph.D. students and many undergraduate students. His field of interest is to investigate Electrical and Dielectric Properties of various composite materials such as glass, glass-nanocomposites, lithium ion conductors, chalcogenides. He received outstanding paper award in west Bengal State Science and Technology Congress, 2018.   Dr. Koyel Bhattacharya is an Assistant Professor and HOD of Department of Physics, Kalipada Ghosh Tarai Mahavidyalaya, Bagdogra, West Bengal. She is also Co-Investigator of major Research Project funded DST, Govt. of India. She pursued her M.Sc. (Physics) from Jadavpur University in the year 2003. She pursued Ph.D. work (Energy Research Unit) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, and received Ph.D. degree from Jadavpur University in the year 2011. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience. She has published 15 journal papers of international standard and books and book chapters in the recent years. Her field of interest includes "Preparation and Characterizations of Nano-crystalline Silicon materials mainly for efficient photovoltaic uses and Electrical Properties of Glass-nanocomposites". Her teaching areas are "General Properties of Matter, Thermal Physics, Modern Physics (Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, Atomic Physics, etc.)".
