I am a litigator, author, and an educator. My work focuses in the areas of complex child custody, child psychological maltreatment, intimate partner violence / domestic violence, child abuse, and international child kidnapping. I have represented clients and have been a part of legal teams in cases across the United States and internationally. I have presented and published widely on the topics of my practice areas. My most recent publication was the book, Litigating Parental Alienation: Evaluating and Presenting an Effective Case in Court (ABA, 2021). I am privileged to serve in the leadership of the ABA's Section of Litigation. I have served as the Section's Publications and Content Officer (PCO) for two terms, from 2018 through 2022. I have also served as the Editor in Chief for Litigation, the Section's flagship publication. I continue to serve as a senior editor on the editorial board of Litigation, and on the Committee on the American Judicial System.
