I still remember everything like it happened yesterday. My first appointment was on March 30th, nine weeks pregnant and absolutely elated at what the future held. My thoughts danced around the sound of my baby's heartbeat, the sound of their laughter, and all the memories we would create together. How could I not fall in love with this small bundle growing inside of me? However, during the ultrasound, the doctor realized my baby had stopped growing at six weeks- I had a missed miscarriage. It was as if the floor disappeared from beneath me. Where do I go from here?
