Demeca Burton is a Southern University A&M graduate with a degree in psychology and professional background in mental health and crisis intervention for children and adolescents. As a mother to 2 Little Black Girls, she has always believed it was important to encourage her girls to embrace and to love their blackness. Struggling with finding representation for her daughters, she decided to create a world designed specifically FOR LITTLE BLACK GIRLS. Demeca's objective is to make sure our girls know that they are represented and to encourage them to be proud of who they are.
