Autorenporträt
Caroline spent many years teaching, in particular focussing on reading skills and encouraging and enabling young people to engage with and enjoy books. With her life-long love of France and her involvement in World War commemorations as a piper, it was only a matter of time before she wrote her first book on this subject, placing it into a gentle context that children can understand and relate to. Caroline is mother to Victoria, Alexandra and Harriet and grandmother to Oliver. As well as a children's author, she now practises as a children's and young people's counsellor. Her hobbies include playing her bagpipes with an international pipe band, and following her favourite football team, Chelsea FC!
