Autorenporträt
Anita L. Ellsworth is the matriarch of five generations. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana, to Walter W. Foreman and Louise Barbara Gran, January 6, 1937. Mother divorced and remarried to Maynard Culp. They moved west to Arizona. The new daddy was a hard rock miner. The family became desert dwellers. Anita is known to care for injured animals. She has always had multiple pets living in her home. Under the big mesquite tree is a pet cemetery. Each has a gravestone with their name on it. The children know that her oversize purse may harbor a baby critter that needs a feeding every two hours. The love for animals does not carry over to the rattlesnake in the mind of Anita. He is not welcome on her property. Anita and her husband, Melvin, have built their retirement home on the desert thirteen miles south of Florence, Arizona.
