Autorenporträt
As a father with three small children, I made my first visit to Gettysburg many years ago, and sadly, I actually didn't know very much about the Civil War or Gettysburg - even being only a few hours away by car. Ever since that first visit, I have been totally intrigued with the town and what happened there. I went on to write several books regarding both the Civil War and Gettysburg. I believe this story will allow children to step back in time and better understand what kids went through during the Civil War.
