Autorenporträt
Anuska Allepuz is the author illustrator of That Fruit Is Mine, The Walloos' Big Adventure and Little green Donkey, which has been published into over fifteen languages worldwide. She is also the illustrator of The Dream Train: Poems for Bedtime by Sean Taylor. She grew up in Spain where she studied Fine Arts at the University of Salamanca and in 2016 she graduated with a distinction from the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. She likes exploring texture and using mixed media such as handmade stamps and stencilled shapes and as well as her colour work she loves creating black and white images. Anuska has been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, awarded the Cultura Jeunesse Prize and the Prix des Incorruptibles (chosen by children), selected to exhibit at the Bologna Children's Book Fair and also has been shortlisted for many awards including the AOI awards and Booktrust storytime prize. She lives in Cambridge with her husband and two children.
