Teresa Adkins, better known as Granny T. by her students and friends has taught elementary age students for almost twenty years. She currently teaches at Mosaic church in Clarksville Tennessee. She has a burning passion to install a joy and confidence in every child knowing they are a one of a kind masterpiece of God with a purpose and mission here on earth, even now at their young age. Her favorite saying is " Never underestimate the power of a kid." She writes and illustrates her books as they are inspired by God to help kids deal with everyday situations like fear, jealousy, anger, judgement and self-doubt. Each book ends with one bible verse pertaining to the story. Teresa received her diploma from The Children's Institute of Literature and has had her artwork feared in Tennessee magazine, on Tennessee Crossroads T.V. show, and in the Gatlinburg arts and crafts fair. She currently resides in Clarksville Tennessee with her husband of fifty-four years. She has three adult children, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
