Phillip Joy has a PhD in Health and is a registered dietitian and assistant professor at Mount Saint Vincent University in the Applied Human Nutrition Department. He has been teaching students the principles of cooking and food science since 2010. Phillip Joy lives in Nova Scotia with his family, including his two teddy bears Wallace and Sizzle. Roberta Jackson is a registered dietitian with a culinary, art and design background. She lives and works in Victoria, BC with her family, creating, educating and sharing fabulous food. Maritza Miari is an artist from Cuba who brings passion and a sense of whimsy to her illustrations. She lives in Nova Scotia with her family.
